Prayer to Saint Anthony of Padua

Dear Saint Anthony, I pray to you,

confident in your compassionate 

goodness; you know how to listen to 

and console everyone: be my 

intercessor with God. You who led a life 

based on the Gospel, help me to 

live in Christian faith and hope; you 

who preached the message of love,

inspire in everyone desires of peace 

and solidarity; you who helped with 

miracles those afflicted by suffering 

and injustice, help the poor and 

the forgotten of this world.

Bless especially my work and my 

family, keeping far away all ills of body 

and spirit; grant that in times of joy,

as in those of trial, I may remain 

always united to God with the faith 

and love of one who is His child.
