Getting Married in San Silvestro

San Silvestro in Capite has a long tradition of welcoming couples who wish to get married in this beautiful church, many of whom come from overseas - particularly Ireland, Britain, the United States and other English-speaking countries.

We will be very happy to assist you in any way that we can if you wish to enquire about getting married here. Our priority is to help you to make your wedding a true celebration of your love for each other in the presence of the God who loves you and of any of your family and friends who are joining you. 

Marriages can be celebrated in our church from Monday to Saturday inclusive, apart from during the Lenten Season when the Diocese of Rome does not allow them.

We can help with arranging details such as music, flowers, photography, transport and other aspects of the day if it will be of assistance, but you are also free to make your own arrangements if you prefer.
